MMF-US is kicking-off our newest webinar series called Perspectives -- bringing you voices and ideas from a variety of genres, age-groups, race, ethnicities, gender, backgrounds and identities, from all aspects of the music industry -- ranging from managers and self-managed artists to those who help support in the areas of publishing, label, marketing, royalty, distribution, technology and beyond.
Episode one features managers who are at the forefront of artists’ growth strategies -- working on fresh ideas and building their businesses and careers with an eye towards innovation. Our panelists will delve into their most effective live and digital marketing strategies and management deal structures, while exploring projections for the future in this ever-changing music industry.

Mikaela Puth, Friends at Work
Mikaela Puth is part of the artist management team at Friends At Work and manages singer, songwriter and producer Charlie Puth. Raised in the seashore community of Rumson, New Jersey, she attended Gettysburg College and graduated with a degree in Sociology and English. She moved to New York City immediately after graduation and worked for the CEO and co-founder of Refinery29, where she helped bring a number of projects to fruition, including the celebrated and visionary exhibit 29Rooms. In 2017 she moved cross-country to California and joined Patriot Management to be Charlie Puth’s day-to-day manager. After a couple of years she ventured out on her own and launched Mickey P Management where her roster included her brothers, Charlie and Stephen Puth, before joining FAW in 2020. Mikaela is a classically trained pianist and an avid marathon runner.
Claire Rex, Triple 8 Management
Claire Rex has been an artist manager at Triple 8 Management Nashville for ~6 years, managing acts all across the board - now fully invested and proud to work with her current roster of Alt/Pop and Americana artists: Judah & the Lion, The Aces, and Penny & Sparrow. Graduated from Belmont University in December of 2015, Rex gained experience in many different areas of the industry; internships at Warner Music Group (label), Mercy Lounge (venue), and a few boutique artist management companies along the way. Management was always her main focus since age 16. Her strengths lie in the creative and organizational facets of artist management. Dealing with every aspect of an artists career, whether it be providing label services for independent artists, creative/brand development, seeking opportunities/partnerships outside of the norm, digging deeper into an artist’s niche interests to help diversify streams of income, helping start charitable foundations to impact the world outside of the artist’s personal circle of peers, and much more that comes along with the job.
Christiana Sudano, Do Less Management
From working in Artist Relations at Universal Music Group to Product Managing legendary releases at Concord Music, Christiana has seen many technological changes within her nine years in the industry. She enjoys blending new technology with tangible products to create innovative marketing strategies. Christiana is also a champion for young women in the music industry and believes the future of the industry will depend on the integration of women in senior positions. Currently, Christiana is the owner of Do Less Management which focuses on bridging the gap between Scandinavia and the United States. Do Less’ strategic relationships in the Nordics and the U.S. allows them to reduce the distance between parties who should be working together. She has most recently joined forces with Sorum as a creative. Sorum's latest success is HARV and FURY writing and producing Justin Bieber's “Peaches”, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard HOT 100 together with the Album debuting #1 on Billboard Album 200 opening week.
