Nick Cucci, Senior Executive Director, Recording Academy New York Chapter

Cucci has more than 35 years of experience in the music industry.  Besides holding senior positions at Rough Trade Records, Columbia Records, RCA Records and MTV, he was instrumental in creating & implementing marketing campaigns for Christina Aguilera, David Bowie, Jessica Simpson, Soul Asylum, Harry Connick, Jr, Kate Bush, KISS, The Pixies, Lucinda Williams, The Offspring and many more.  During Cucci's career, he has worked side-by-side with some of the most powerful and influential executives and artists in the industry.  Before joining the Recording Academy's New York Chapter, he was Executive Director for LifeBeat-Music Fights HIV/AIDS, a nationally prominent non-profit organization.  Nick is now in his ninth year at the Recording Academy.

 

Lauren Loverde, Senior Project Manager, Recording Academy New York Chapter

Lauren has nearly 13 years of project management and event experience in the entertainment industry. Her expertise spans large- and small-scale project planning, awards shows, talent/client relations, and team management, with her sweet spot being the planning and execution of high-quality, strategic projects for diverse audiences. With a background that includes organizations such as the Recording Academy, and the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, she brings a wealth of knowledge to any room. Known for her exceptional multitasking abilities, and ability to lead and motivate teams through change and adversity, Lauren is a fearless and adaptable professional who thrives on learning and taking on challenging tasks to drive success. Lauren is now in her sixth year at the Recording Academy.

 

Sean Riley, Managing Director, Awards at The Recording Academy/GRAMMYs

Sean Riley is the Managing Director of Awards at the Recording Academy. He has been with the Academy for more than two decades, leading the GRAMMY Awards team on Craft categories and Nominee ticketing and seating. A graduate of Northwestern University, he recently moved back to Chicago with his family.
