Vince Lawrence is an internationally recognized innovator in dance music. Industry insiders

recognize Vince as co-author of the first recording officially designated "house music" and is

credited with the initial organization of Trax Records where he named label, designed its iconic Trax Records logo, developed label sound, signed genre defining acts, supervised record, mix and mastering sessions, developed promo campaigns and created national sales efforts all from the ground up. TRAX, the original home of House Music, gave birth to the biggest movement in club music since the dawn of Disco. TRAX stands in a class by itself, as the quintessential music catalog that defines the house music sound.. Vince and the team at Slang have also received numerous gold & platinum awards for their contributions. As a remixer, worked on MIchael Jackson, Beyonce, John Legend, R Kelly, and others. Vince composed soundtracks for major brands and was contributing composer on one of the most successful daytime talk shows in history. Vince has directing, writing, production and and music supervision credits for work in film.
