MMF-US Supports NIVA for Save Our Stages Act

Thanks to the music community’s grassroots effort, the Omnibus Covid-19 relief package including the Save Our Stages Act passed in Congress and then signed into law in December 2020. MMF-US supported the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) in its final push to Congress to pass the Save Our Stages Act. NIVA’s mission is to preserve and nurture the ecosystem of independent live event venues and promoters throughout the United States. The Save Our Stages Act will help keep independent venues nationwide from closing permanently.
