MMF Board Member, Shaun Barrett / 4Ohm Group reports from Yellow Phone Music Conference...

Last weekend Milwaukee saw the second annual Yellow Phone Music Conference, in which YPMC saw noticeable growth in their showcases, panels, and level of industry involvement.  Panels covered the gambit from legal, labels, publishing, and management.  In an era of the larger conferences being more expensive than ever, smaller regional events such as Yellow Phone provide a real value and service, in a very networking friendly environment.  I expect to see growth with this conference in the years to come and look forward to attending next year.
