Jeff Stempeck currently works on the SoundOn Artist Partnerships team at TikTok, specializing in business development and new signings. Over the last 14 years, Jeff has held positions across distribution and partnerships at The Orchard, Spotify, and TikTok, focusing on indie and emerging artists.

Shilpa Sadagopan - Creator Marketing Manager, TikTok/SoundOn

Shilpa Sadagopan currently works on the SoundOn promotion team at TikTok, specializing in creator marketing and data driven trend analytics.  Previously, she worked on digital marketing teams at Soundcloud and Virgin Music, and has successfully grown her own following on TikTok - helping to curate an understanding of the creator experience. Throughout all of these endeavors, the indie artist experience remains at the focal point and is the primary driving force for her work.

Anj Fayemi - Founder and CEO of Rivet

Anj Fayemi is the co-founder and CEO of Rivet, an AI-driven platform that leverages machine learning to help management companies and label teams identify and understand their most devoted fans and increase revenue and engagement with their content and products. Rivet has received 1871’s Industry Disrupter Award joining the ranks of companies like Rheaply and Envoy Global and the company was this past year named a Top 14 Creator Company by Business Insider.

Cherriana Wang - Asian & Middle Eastern

Artist Development, Sony Music Entertainment

Cherriana Wang, a former singer and NYU Music Business graduate, is currently serving as the Asian and Middle Eastern Artist Development Assistant Manager at Sony Music Entertainment's New York headquarters. She reports to the President of Corporate Strategy and Market Development, Asia and the Middle East.

Cherriana leads key Asian artist development projects in the US, including the ones for the Korean pop idol I.M and the Filipino boy band SB19. She also managed and spoke at the annual Sony Music Asia and Middle East Strategy Meeting in Dubai, sharing insights with top executives. Additionally, she serves as a judge for the 2024 New York auditions for "Rap of China."

Moderator: Khufu Reign - Producer & Manager at We Make Music

For over a decade, award winning manager Khufu (koo-foo) Reign has worked in various roles. While leading business development at We Make Music, he manages the careers of De La Soul, Tyla, Awkwafina, & Wild East Radio. He has engineered for Nas, Mary J. Blige, Tricky Stewart, will.i.am & DJ Khaled and won an A2IM Hip Hop Album of the Year award as a producer. As a developer, he created ‘A Web3 Blueprint’ & the creative directory ‘Atlas’. 

Anj studied engineering at MIT and Imperial College, has a Theatre Arts Minor, and is an active recording and performing musician who's opened for Grammy-nominated 6lack. He is Nigerian, comes from a family of artists, and started Rivet to solve a personal problem as he released his second album, which explains his dedication to working on creating platforms for creators to do what they love and build sustainable, robust businesses and careers. He previously worked in finance at Blackrock and has been an early team member at previous startups. Anj has been featured in Business Insider, Pitchbook and BuiltIn, amongst others.
